What You’ll Be Doing as the Senior Accountant

• Own full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, journal entries and financial reporting
• Lead budgeting, cash-flow forecasting and variance analysis
• Manage payables, grant payments, receivables and payroll
• Prepare government, regulatory and charity reporting
• Build strong relationships with external auditors and provide financial guidance and insights to the Board

About You as the Senior Accountant

• Bring not-for-profit accounting experience
• Understand public-sector or government reporting requirements
• Hold a CPA designation or have equivalent working experience
• Are highly communicative and are a natural relationship-builder with key stakeholders
• Have the capability and desire to work autonomously in an independent function
