What You’ll Be Doing as the Project Accountant
Manage capital accounting for ongoing real estate development projects and active properties, including monitoring bank accounts and ongoing financial reporting.
Process invoices, track project expenses, and maintain cashflows.
Prepare funding reports for grants and lenders.
Support month-end close, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
Oversee AP, AR, intercompany transactions, and security deposit activity.
Perform bank reconciliations and keep documentation audit-ready.
About You as the Project Accountant
Have 5+ years of experience with full-cycle accounting, project accounting is an asset.
Currently have your CPA designation or are near completion of the program.
Experience preparing reporting for external funders or lenders (e.g., government grant programs).
Are comfortable managing multiple bank accounts and cash flow forecasting.
Have strong communication skills and are comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
