What You’ll Be Doing as the Senior Property Accountant
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and reporting packages
Complete month-end and year-end accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries
Review rent rolls, tenant charges, recoveries, revenues, and expenses
Prepare CAM and operating expense reconciliations
Develop annual property budgets and support forecasting and variance analysis
Coordinate GST reporting and year-end working papers
Support property transitions, acquisitions, and special projects
About You as the Senior Property Accountant
3+ years full cycle accounting experience
Formal education (certificate, diploma, degree)
Property accounting or commercial real estate experience
Experience accounting for multiple properties or entities
CAM reconciliation and tenant recovery experience is an asset
Yardi experience is an asset
Residential property or RTB experience is an asset
