What You’ll Be Doing as the Payroll & Benefits Specialist
Independently run biweekly payroll for approximately 300+ salaried and hourly employees
Administer benefits, including enrolments, changes and offboarding, track vacation, payouts, bonuses and off-cycle payments
Apply provisions from multiple collective agreements, including benefits eligibility and flex-time requirements
Prepare T4s, ROEs, garnishments and cheque requisitions
Maintain HRIS information and support employees and managers with payroll questions
Experience interpreting collective agreements in a payroll environment
Highly communicative, approachable and customer-oriented
Take a proactive approach in supporting internal stakeholders
