What You’ll Be Doing as the Operations Accountant
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and variance reports
- Oversee a team of accounting analysts, providing mentorship and guidance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support projects and financial analysis
- Lead balance sheet reviews and resolve reconciling items promptly
- Champion policy compliance, process reviews, and business unit integration
About You as the Operations Accountant
- You have completed your Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant designation
- You have 3+ years of experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
- You bring leadership capability in a multi-unit or multi-entity environment
- You can build or assess financial models to evaluate operational performance
- You thrive in ambiguity and love driving continuous process improvement
- You’re comfortable managing departmental integration during business changes
