What You’ll Be Doing as the Financial Analyst

• Reconciling daily sales across systems, ensuring accurate revenue recognition.
• Overseeing monthly closing activities, from journal entries to reconciliations.
• Conducting variance analyses for accounts on monthly, quarterly, and annual timelines.
• Driving process improvements in internal controls and automation.
• Managing compliance for commodity tax returns.
• Maintaining the fixed asset subledger.
• Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes.

About You as the Financial Analyst

• Experienced in full-cycle accounting.
• Adept at financial reporting and budgeting.
• Have excellent problem solving skills are curious in nature and enjoy continuous improvement projects.
• Proficient in accounting software; QuickBooks experience is a plus.
• Educational background in accounting, finance, or related fields (CPA designation or actively pursuing is an asset).
• Passionate about contributing to a culturally inclusive environment.
