What You’ll Be Doing as the Accounting Specialist
Manage daily cash balancing and account reconciliations across multiple offices.
Complete payroll processing and administer employee health benefits.
Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly reports for the bank.
Oversee invoicing, accounts payable, and receivable functions using Applied Systems EPIC.
Conduct month-end journal entries and assist with ad-hoc financial analysis.
Respond to financial inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accuracy in reporting.
Order and monitor office supplies, ensuring efficient business operations.
About You as the Accounting Specialist
Post-secondary education in Accounting (degree, diploma, certificate).
3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
Proficient with ERP systems.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel for detailed reporting and error checking.
Familiar with PST and GST filing requirements.
