What You’ll Be Doing as the Accountant

• Oversee the accuracy of financial records including journal entries, reconciliations, and assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial tasks including reporting and budgeting.
• Perform detailed analysis of labor, material, and price variances, providing insights to optimize cost controls.
• Manage inventory costing, ensuring alignment with the production process and financial reports.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Support forecasting by analyzing financial trends and providing cost-reduction strategies.

About You as the Accountant

• Experience with job costing, variance analysis, and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management, standard costing, and cost control processes in a production setting.
• Familiarity with large ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, particularly related to financial data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
